Doctrine
The Charter
The quality of guidance can never exceed the quality of the evidence behind it.
BodySwift Pro is not a fitness app. It is an Adaptive Wellness Intelligence — a calm, evidence-aware companion designed to be useful to you, defensible to your clinician, and honest with itself.
These are the principles we hold ourselves to. They are not aspirations. They are constraints on what the product is allowed to do.
One
We rate evidence, never the person.
No score is attached to you. No badge. No rank. Every assessment lives at the level of the signal — its source, its verification, its consistency — never at the level of who you are.
Two
Internal precision, external calm.
The system underneath is rigorous. The surface you see is quiet. Confidence shapes how Swifty speaks to you; it never shows up as a number you have to interpret.
Three
Adaptive intelligence is calibrated, not certain.
Every recommendation reflects the quality of available evidence. When evidence improves, guidance improves. When evidence is incomplete, the system acknowledges uncertainty rather than pretending certainty. Certainty is the failure mode of consumer wellness — we refuse it.
Four
Your data is yours.
You own it. You can correct it. You can revoke any provider's access. You can leave with everything intact.
Five
We are device-agnostic.
No wearable is universally best. We rate reliability per metric, per context, per user. A user with no wearable receives the same quality of care as one with three.
Six
No dark patterns.
No dopamine engineering. No streaks-as-shame. No social credit. No nudges to install devices for the sake of higher numbers. The product never punishes you for living a life it can't see.
Seven
No medical diagnosis.
BodySwift describes evidence quality. Clinicians draw clinical conclusions. We will never blur that line.
Eight
Methodology is public.
How we evaluate evidence, how we rate devices, how we change those weights over time — all of it is documented, versioned, and reviewed.
Nine
Guidance must remain challengeable.
Every recommendation can be questioned. Every conclusion can be inspected. The user remains the final decision-maker — not the system, not the device, not the data.
Ten
Human agency comes first.
The purpose of Adaptive Wellness Intelligence is not to replace judgement, but to support it. Guidance informs decisions. It does not make them. The user remains responsible for their choices, their context, and their future.
This charter is a living document. We will tighten it. We will not loosen it.
